Crafting Guide

How to learn recipes, prepare materials, use forges, and upgrade equipment

Recipe System

Recipe Scrolls

You need the matching Recipe Scroll before you can craft an item. You can find scrolls as enemy loot, buy them from merchants, or trade for them with other players.

Learning a scroll consumes it and permanently adds the recipe to your known recipes. After that, you can craft the item whenever you have enough materials.

Some scrolls are rare and come only from pocket-dimension bosses or kingdom achievements. Players and kingdoms may value crafters who know these recipes because they unlock powerful equipment.

Craftable Items

Recipe Categories

Recipes are grouped by what they create. Each category uses different materials, and specialized crafting skills may improve the results.

CategoryPrimary MaterialsExamples
WeaponsIngots, Leather, WoodSwords, Axes, Bows, Staves

Some categories unlock more recipes as your crafting skill improves. For example, a mid-level smith may work with iron, while mythril and enchanted ores require higher skill levels.

Resource Quality

Materials & Tiers

Raw materials gathered from the world must often be refined before use in crafting. Ores must be smelted into ingots, hides must be tanned into leather, and wood must be processed into planks.

TierRaw MaterialRefined FormUsed For
ICopper Ore, Rough HideCopper Ingot, LeatherStarter equipment
IIIron Ore, Thick HideIron Ingot, Hardened LeatherStandard equipment

IVMythril Ore, Dragon HideMythril Ingot, Dragon LeatherElite equipment
VVoid Crystal, Abyssal EssenceVoid Ingot, Abyssal LeatherLegendary equipment

Higher-tier materials produce stronger equipment but require more crafting skill. Rare materials may also require specialized tools or forge upgrades.

Crafting Station

The Forge

You need access to a forge to smelt ore and craft metal equipment. You can build a forge on claimed territory or use one in a friendly settlement.

Forges require fuel to operate. Common fuel includes wood and coal, while some legendary recipes require rare fuel such as dragon breath or phoenix feathers. Fuel quality does not change crafting speed or results. Each recipe simply consumes a set amount.

Kingdom forges can be upgraded to help everyone who uses them. A fully upgraded Grand Forge reduces material costs by 10% and increases the chance of producing a higher-quality item.

Enhancement

Upgrade Paths

The upgrade system raises equipment stats above their starting values. Each item can reach +10, with every level adding a stat bonus.

Upgrading requires upgrade stones of the appropriate tier. The chance of success decreases at higher upgrade levels, and failure may result in the item losing upgrade levels or, at extreme tiers, breaking entirely.

Upgrade LevelSuccess RateFailure Penalty
+1 to +3100%None (guaranteed)
+4 to +675%-1 level on failure
+7 to +950%-2 levels on failure
+1025%Item destroyed on failure

Protection scrolls can prevent an item from being destroyed during a +10 attempt, but they are rare and expensive. Consider stopping at +9 if the item would be difficult to replace.
