Kingdoms turn players into durable institutions.

Fractara's live kingdom system lets players found named realms, review applicants, delegate granular authority, pool resources, coordinate in kingdom chat, compete in rankings, declare war, negotiate peace, rebel, vote, and transfer the throne. The backend owns every membership, permission, treasury, war, and succession change.

A realm is joined, governed, and remembered.

Kingdom state survives the current browser session. Every important action is checked against the latest durable membership and authority.

  1. 01

    Found or find

Create a uniquely named kingdom or search the bounded kingdom directory for a realm that fits.

  2. 02

    Request membership

Applicants submit a join request. The ruler or a member with initiating authority accepts or rejects it.

  3. 03

    Delegate authority

Titles remain expressive; sixteen granular permissions determine what each member can actually do.

  4. 04

    Act together

Members coordinate through kingdom chat, contribute resources, follow rankings, and participate in conflict or succession.

Authority is explicit, not implied by a label.

Freeform titles express culture. Server-enforced permissions decide who can recruit, command, message, build, repair, manage heraldry, or touch the treasury.

Member authority

Permissions—not decorative ranks—control the realm.

Architecture, commanding, expelling, heraldry, initiating, messaging, treasury, construction, repair, and other capabilities each use denied, allowed, or grant authority. The ruler begins with grant authority across the set.

Shared treasury

Four durable resources belong to the kingdom.

Members can contribute brick, gold, sapphire, and mortar. Withdrawals require treasury authority, and contributed resources remain with the realm when a member leaves.

Identity and communication

Status, heraldry, titles, and chat are synchronized.

Authorized members can update the kingdom status or emblem, rulers can assign freeform titles, and durable kingdom chat is delivered with the kingdom snapshot.

Discovery and standing

Search and five ranking views expose active realms.

The backend serves bounded search plus influence, conquest, weekly conquest, member-count, and territory-count rankings. It does not invent a universal popularity score.

War can end. The institution can survive.

Conflict is durable state with command authority, negotiation, and surrender. Succession provides a separate path for a kingdom to change leadership without erasing its members or identity.

War

Commanders can declare durable kingdom wars.

A valid command creates an active war record between distinct kingdoms. The current runtime does not charge an invented declaration price or impose a fictional preparation day.

Peace

Either side can negotiate an end.

Authorized commanders can propose peace. The opposing kingdom can accept or reject the pending proposal, with both sides receiving updated war state.

Surrender

Conceding has a server-owned brick consequence.

Surrender ends the war and applies the current backend-owned loss and transfer rules transactionally. This page avoids copying balance percentages into prose that could drift.

Succession

Leadership can change without deleting the kingdom.

A designated successor can claim the throne after ruler inactivity. A majority of recently active rebels can instead begin a timed vote whose winner receives ruler authority.

Reviewed against the connected kingdom runtime.

This first-party record was reviewed by Mask on July 17, 2026. Claims were checked through the connected client commands, backend services, persistence models, synchronized projections, and behavior tests—not a design document.

  • The connected client dispatches creation, join review, membership, permission, treasury, war, peace, rebellion, voting, and succession commands.
  • The backend persists kingdoms, memberships, join requests, wars, anarchy state, and votes rather than trusting browser state.
  • Kingdom resources update inside transactions, with permission checks repeated against durable membership state.
  • Kingdom snapshots synchronize members, requests, wars, rankings, treasury state, succession state, and kingdom chat.
  • Behavior tests cover creation, contributions, membership review, war and peace, surrender, rebellion, and throne claims.

Kingdoms connect people to the persistent world.

Territory, trade, crafting, combat, and exploration create the resources and pressure around a realm. Kingdoms provide the durable membership and decision structure that lets players respond together.

Fractara kingdom questions.

Are kingdoms live in Fractara?

Yes. Fractara's connected client and backend currently support kingdom creation, search, join requests, member management, granular permissions, shared resources, status and emblem changes, chat, rankings, war, peace, surrender, rebellion, voting, and succession.

Does Fractara use fixed guild ranks?

No fixed Duke, Baron, Knight, or Peasant ladder determines authority. Kingdom titles are freeform. Sixteen granular permission categories, each set to denied, allowed, or grant, control what a member can do.

What can kingdoms store?

The current kingdom treasury stores brick, gold, sapphire, and mortar. Members can contribute those resources; withdrawals require treasury permission. Leaving a kingdom does not refund prior contributions.

How do kingdom wars end?

The current durable war flow ends through accepted peace, surrender, or kingdom lifecycle handling. This page does not claim an automatic seven-day ending, a 24-hour preparation phase, or a 500-brick declaration cost because those rules are not in the connected runtime.

Does Fractara have alliances and treaties?

Kingdom membership, wars, peace proposals, chat, and rankings are live. This record does not claim a separate inter-kingdom alliance, non-aggression-pact, shared-vision, or trade-treaty system because the current runtime does not prove those features.
